‘Open Theism’ what do you think?

    I think Open Theism has a lot of good points. It’s especially strong in that it places a strong emphasis on human free will. I agree with the idea that God knows all the different possibilities and all the different directions that the world can go because of human decisions that will be freely made.

    However, the one point that I’m not comfortable with is the idea that God doesn’t know the future, and that he doesn’t know what we’re going to choose. Personally, I don’t see any self-contradiction in the idea that God knows before hand what we are going to freely choose. He is so beyond our space-time continuum (yet fully present within), that limiting his knowledge to the present and past seems illogical.
